I do trust all the ideas you have introduced for your post. They are very convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very quick for starters. May you please prolong them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.

Actually from husband Steve in Iowa....
Two more signs we are very close the end of civilization as we know it.
1.	The highest rated show on cable was Jersey Shore (with Snooki and her friends), with 7.2 million people and the second highest was WWE Raw (Wrestling), with 5.8 million.
2.	Charlie Sheen has announced new stops on his Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option tour. The fired star of Two and a Half Men will bring his tiger blood and Adonis DNA to Cleveland, Columbus, New York, Wallingford, Conn., and Boston in April. The tour’s previously announced dates in Detroit and Chicago are sold out.

Beaut item on teaching, that's the way I remember it in the US where I grew up (been Australian since 1976). Public education was the norm and school buses were free to ride and school lunches were cheap (and nowhere near so nasty as we pretended).

Spent most of my working life as a teacher, not so diligent as your mum, but loving the job and the students.

Good to see that Wisconsin teachers and public servants are drawing aline in the sand. I dedicate the YouTube link below to the folks who are standing up against dividing America into two classes.

In the UK, the public service is under wevere attack from the government. I leave you with a quote from the linked article:

"The drive to increase independent provision of public services is not based on evidence and will actually transfer power away from democratic bodies such as local authorities to unaccountable businesses and organisations, Unite argues. Assistant general secretary Gail Cartmail says: "Francis Maude needs to provide clear and well-thought-out evidence, or risk opening up an Aladdin's cave for profiteering private companies to take over public services."

I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason, took my order first.

"I'll have the strip steak, medium rare, please."

He said, "Aren't you worried about the mad cow?"

Nah, she can order for herself."

And that's when the fight started...
