I could learn to live with a view like that. Thanks for sharing it.

  2. Jim Montague says:

Wonderful view, I think its screaming for a web cam.

I did take several pictures; each time thinking the latest was the best. Time progression is nice. My view did improve recently, as two buildings, cranes now gone, covered up the hellish double decker freeway bridge that used to blight my view with its ugliness by day, and its movement by night. Call me crazy, but I think any further changes are far in the future.

    • Karen M says:

      Jim, Are you recently back?

  3. Jim Montague says:

Yes, I’ve been traveling and generally having a great time. I have lurked at UT, but can’t seem to get inspired enough to put out anything interesting. I think I’m in a funk, but I am having a blast moving around, next trip is Cabo San Lucas.

    • Karen M says:

Sorry about the funk, but it’s good to see you on the nets again. Especially when de-lurking.

I was on a bit of a hiatus myself last fall, but I’m finally getting back in tne swing of things. And this here blog is one of the additions that has improved QNL for me anyway. (quality of net life)

      • cocktailhag says:

Aw, thanks, Karen… Gives me a reason to race home early, prowl the toobz, and wrack my brain for ideas, more than I do already. I’ve discovered the horror of staring at the key board with complete writer’s block, but it’s worth it when people appreciate it.

  4. Jim Montague says:

I heard about that, I’m very happy to see you back too and in good health. This blog has all the promise to become something spectacular, I trust Tony will have a lot of fun with this before its done.

  5. Jim White says:

Okay, since nobody else asked. Was this sunrise at the beginning or end of your day?

  6. cocktailhag says:

Beginning, Jim. Don’t forget the word “hag” in Cocktailhag… The ol’ curlers usually go in around 10:30 or so each night.

That’s a fine photo, CH. I envy you that view. Here in Boise, at least in my neighborhood, I can’t see anything through the haze of barking dogs.

It’s even more interesting when aided by a telescope. Too bad the big condo with floor-to-ceiling windows just across the park will probably take until 2010 to fill up.

  8. rmp says:

That’s a great pix. I got another great pix today from a Japanese friend of mine who just bought a condo near Yamanaka lake in Fuji national park. The pix is a shot of the lake and my favorite mountain that I climbed three times, Mt Fuji. I’ll try to remember to make it an attachment in my next Blast email. Or, can I send it to you Hag and you can show it in your blog?

On a separate note, Jebbie told me yesterday when I had recommended ondelette as the Contributor of the Week on the Wog, that he was in the process of shutting the Wog down. He didn’t say why, but I think it is because of the low usage rate.

    • cocktailhag says:

rmp.. I can put you in as an author, and you can post your pic. I just put up a new post without any.
Dang. I think I’ll nag Jebbie to keep the wog…. I really look forward to finding out the winners and such. Heaven knows, I don’t let low user rates stop me.
